Michele Zuckman is the Middle and Upper School vocal music teacher at Friends’ Central School in Wynnewood, PA, where she directs the choral program for grades 6-12 and teaches a variety of music electives, including Music Theory/Composition and World Music Drumming. Originally from Allentown, PA, Michele earned a BFA in Voice Performance and Music Education at Carnegie Mellon University and an MM in Choral Conducting and Music Education at Westminster Choir College of Rider University. Previous area musical experiences include Princeton Singers (Soprano), Hopewell Valley Chorus (Artistic Director/Conductor), and Lambertville Music School (Voice Faculty).  Michele has been incredibly fortunate to participate three times in week-long Circlesongs workshops, led by Bobby McFerrin, at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY.  Michele has been singing and conducting with the Chestnut Street Singers since 2015 and is delighted to be a member of the board this season.

When not music-ing, Michele enjoys knitting, petting cats, eating carbs, and most of all being Ira’s mom.
